March 22nd Friday
Lent Concert by University of Winchester Music Centre.

UoW Music Centre presents a concert featuring our Folk Band, Folk Choir and String Gems who will be joining forces to offer a fascinating programme of folk and classical music for you to enjoy. We present a wonderful mix and variety of music from folk and classical traditions. They will be joined by soloists from the ensembles to complete an evening of beautiful music; there will be something for everyone!

Starting at 6.30pm with wine, soft drinks and light refreshments, Concert 7.30pm

“Surprised by Joy” CS Lewis (1898 – 1963) A talk with readings by Sue Morris and Alfred Bradley

This talk will incorporate extracts from Lewis’s extremely diverse writings showing how he grew into one of Britain’s most popular writers of fantasy, science fiction, and moral debate.
2.30pm Followed by tea

Saturday Friends’ Quiet Day

9.00 am Mass – 4.00 pm Tea
This is a generous opportunity for us to enjoy the peace and prayerfulness of the Abbey, as a gift to us from the Community. Please do take up this invitation.
There is no charge for the day, but donations are always appreciated.
Bring your own lunch; tea and coffee are available in the Reception kitchen.

July 26th Friday
Concert by ‘In Accord’ Sue Lampard and her 14
piece a capella choir

7.30pm With a short interval, Concert followed by wine and light refreshments

“Freeing the incarcerated from prisons of their own making”
7.00pm supper with wine in the Refectory after the Lecture
